A
rainy day is a day when it rains almost all day long. Such a day is dull with dazzling
and torrential rainfall. The sky often remains cloudy and it is dark all around.
The roads become muddy and slippery. One cannot go out without an umbrella. Sometimes,
the roads and fields go under water and people have to walk their homes or
working places. Open manhole is very dangerous on a rainy day because one cannot
know where it is under water. Children cannot attend their school or go out to
play. If it rains heavily I do not go to school. I remain at home and read
story books. People cannot graze their animals and so animals remain at their
pen. Rainwater comes into the huts of the poor. They cannot go out for work.
They suffer much on a rainy day. So, some of them remain unfed. In spite of it
rainwater makes everything neat and clean. After rain, nature wears a fresh look.
