Introduction:
The term “Digital Bangladesh” implies the equal and rapid development in all
sectors of the nation under a good command of high-tech. the concept of digital
Bangladesh is introduced by the Awamy-League Government in 2009. The aim of
digital Bangladesh is to bring the whole country under rapid and equal
development applying mainly the knowledge of science.
Necessary
steps: the first foremost condition of making “Digital
Bangladesh” is the whole nation to be educated and turned into manpower. It
needs corruption free strong political commitment and proper plans. It is to
ensure the technological development in all sectors of economy and modern
high-tech is to be education. In this case, Bangladesh will have to link up
with world’s advanced technology of computer, internet, satellite etc.
Bangladesh has already been connected with sub-marine cable. People are to be
familiar with world’s technology and inventions through it.

Sectors: Bangladesh is a land of agriculture. Agriculture is
the main source of national economy. Most of the people depend on agriculture.
So, we will have to apply world’s high-tech in this sector. Leather, just and
garments are other prospected sectors. If it is possible to develop these
sectors, we can huge foreign currency.
Drawbacks:
poverty,
huge population, political crisis, illiteracy, corruption, political in
co-operation, party spirit, immoral and unpatriotic dealings to country etc.
are the drawbacks for it. Most of the politicians and professionals are
corrupted and they are not dedicative to national interest.
Conclusion: proper plans and initiatives accordingly
people’s spontaneous cooperation to the government, good government, nepotism
free strong political commitment, linking up Bangladesh with worlds high-tech
etc. are conditions for making substantial the dream of “Digital Bangladesh”.
